Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy

This Cancellation Policy outlines how KTCCruises handles cruise cancellations, applicable fees, and the refund process. By confirming your cruise reservation with us, you agree to the terms and conditions stated here.

1. Booking Confirmation

Your cruise reservation is officially confirmed upon receipt of the booking confirmation email from KTCCruises.

2. Payment Terms

Full payment is required at the time of booking, unless otherwise specified in your confirmation or special promotion. In some cases, a deposit may be accepted, with the balance due prior to departure.

3. Cancellation Request

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to KTCCruises customer service. The date of receipt of your written request will determine the applicable cancellation fees.

4. Standard Cancellation Fees

- 60+ days before departure: 10% of total fare or $100 per person (whichever is higher).
- 30–59 days before departure: 25% of total fare.
- 15–29 days before departure: 50% of total fare.
- 0–14 days before departure or no-show: 100% cancellation fee — no refund.

5. Non-Refundable Fares

Certain promotional fares, last-minute deals, and exclusive offers may be non-refundable. These fares will be clearly marked during booking, so you can make an informed decision before confirming your reservation.

6. Refund Timeline

If eligible for a refund, it will be processed to the original form of payment within 30 business days from the approval of your cancellation request.

7. Travel Insurance

KTCCruises strongly recommends purchasing travel insurance. Please note that insurance is not included in your booking and must be purchased separately to cover unforeseen cancellations, emergencies, or other trip-related delays.

8. Force Majeure Events

In the event of a force majeure (natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, government restrictions, etc.), KTCCruises may offer partial refunds, future travel credits, or rescheduling based on the specific circumstances and the policies of the cruise line.

9. Cruise Line Cancellations

If your cruise is canceled by the cruise line, you will be notified of the options available to you, including refunds or the opportunity to rebook for another date, in accordance with the cruise line’s cancellation policy.

10. Medical Cancellations

In case of serious illness or medical emergencies, a cancellation request may be submitted with medical documentation. Refunds or credits for medical cancellations are subject to approval by both KTCCruises and the cruise line.

11. Partial Cancellations

If part of your booking (e.g., a single passenger) is canceled, applicable cancellation fees will be adjusted based on the remaining booking and cabin occupancy.

12. No-Show Policy

If you fail to board your cruise without prior cancellation notice, a 100% cancellation fee will be applied, and no refund will be issued.

13. Shore Excursion Cancellations

Shore excursions are subject to the cruise line’s or third-party operator’s policies. Some excursions may become non-refundable if canceled after a specific cutoff date.

14. Non-Refundable Items

Processing fees, booking service fees, third-party excursions, port taxes, and government fees may not be refunded, even if your cruise fare is refunded.

15. Policy Updates

KTCCruises reserves the right to update this cancellation policy at any time. The version in effect at the time of booking will govern your reservation.
